Review: These Indiana Jones films need no introduction but how do they deliver on DVD? I've grown up watching these films on many occasions when they appeared on TV, so thought I would ask for this DVD box set for Christmas. It personally did not disappoint me - the three films look absolutely great on DVD! It is even worth getting hold of a VHS copy to see the superior quality the DVD brings! The extras you get are seperate on their own DVD with about 3 hours worth - a documentary of the making of each one of the films, trailers and featurettes on the stunts, sound, set etc. I found the extras extremely interesting and features appearances by all the main stars including the directors George Lucas and Steven Speilberg. As always I expect people will complain about the lack of commentary from Steven Speilberg. It doesn't bother me, and I don't know if anything was cut from these films or not, but they didn't seem any less great to me! If you are a fan of these films, get this! |
