Review Summary: my first video camera

Review: The JVC GR-D33 is the first video camera that Ive ever owned or operated so it needs to be simple to operate, small and light. It is all those. The pictures seem (to me) to be high quality and it does seem to cope with low light situations (there is a light on the front too).

Sound quality is less good but audible.

The camera comes with leads to connect to a VCR but does not come with a firewire cable which seems a bit odd. So if you want to run it to your pc you'll need to get a cable.
