Review: The quality of the picture with this JVC TU-DB1SK is excellent, also changes channel quickly using channel up-down buttons but does take a while longer when using 1-9 buttons on remote. Loads up quickly and allows you to remove channels you don't require.
Only one problem which I imagine is a software one. When switched to standby usually freezes, requiring unit to be unplugged from mains adapter for a few minutes and reconnected. Sometimes this does not cure problem and procedure has to be repeated.
However if the unit is left in 'on' mode there seems to be no problems.
Very few drop outs and these normally take the form of a second's silence on sound.
Overall an excellent product compared to the budget ones, which are always going faulty. Brilliant once the standby/on problems get sorted. Mike (electronics eng).
