Review: I bought this JVC TU-DB1SK set top box a few weeks ago and have found it to be a really solid unit. Very easy to set up, very much the "Plug and Play" setup you would hope for. Automatically sets up all channels which you can then delete or add to as you see fit. Very handy if you don't have kids like me and want to get rid of the Childrens channels (or the shopping channels from the wife!). The picture is brilliantly sharp and the sound is much improved, changes channels like lightning (faster than any TV i've ever owned) and the now and then display is most handy.
The TV option on the remote is a liitle limited but more than efficient for everyday use. It is extremely light and laid out in a similiar format to all the other JVC remotes. Can be used wit a DVD/VCR if you have a JVC one too.
I have left my unit on constantly since purchasing (other than when in bed of course!) and have had no issues with it freezing up.
Altogether a really good unit which so far has been a doddle to use.
