Review: Shockin, Dreadful, amateurish, japanese tat. A good way to describe Jet Ion GP. The graphics, Oh god the graphics. The ships look PSone in shape and style. They are dreadful. The vapour trails use the easiest way to look see-through. Every other pixel is the colour of the trail. Really is bad. The gameplay is awful as well. The ships are cumbersome to control. They are sluggish, heavy to turn and don't feel like Hoverships should feel. The A.I is worse than Pro Rally. You get a second headstart over them to start before they realise they should move. By this time your first and don't get overtaken all race. They follow a certain track and don't pull away from each other all race. All you have to do to avoid being hit by them is move to the side if they fire a weapon!! The game has 7 "Ships", 4 tracks and 3 difficulty levels...expensive for this tat. Please, if you have to have a Hovership game, get Fusion or WIP3OUT!! Leave this well alone |
