| Review Summary: Great Price and Full Flavoured |
Overall Score: 4/5

|
| Good Points: Great price - usually £3 buys you 4 cans and (if you don\'t mind shopping there) can be found for even less at Tescos
Nice pint with some good flavour
Better left a bit so that the initial gasiness has disappeared. |
| Bad Points: Can be a bit 'gassy' when the can is first opened. |
Review: These days there are loads of great micro brewery brewed beers about and the choice of what to take home has never been greater. But for all those beers, I still find that Stones Bitter is a great beer to drink from the can. I find many of the so-called 'smooth'/'widget'/'draught in a can' beers are bland and tasteless. John Smiths is a great pint (well 440ml then) and one to savour after a long days work.
PS. I find leaving the can open for about half an hour in advance helps the flavour as it can be a bit too gassy when firsdt opened. |
