Review: Wonderfully done! I had my doubts at first as I LOVE the stage show. HOW WRONG I WAS!!! This is amazing!!!! I was given this video as a gift for Christmas 1999 and within the first fortnight had watched it about 50 times!!LOL

Without a doubt Donny Osmond is the BEST Joseph I've ever seen (and I've seen lots!!LOL). He really brings Joseph to life for his audience. I was particularly impressed with the manner in which he portrays Joseph's reaction in the "Benjamin caught with the cup" scene. In some performances it's depicted as though Joseph was gently rebuking a child with no anger/vigour brought into it at all, I must say Donny does "angry" very well and really gets into the spirit of the part he's playing; Joseph was at this point testing his brothers so he would have ensured the accusation was as real as possible. Donny portrays this very well, his facial expressions are amazing and captured to perfection by the camera crew.

Pharoah is portrayed in an excellent way too, adding some humour and character to the typical "Elvis" impression.

I would highly recommend this wonderful show for the whole family (although I'd say families with younger children might wish to be a little cautious in regard to some of the costumes being a tad bit revealing in a couple of the "Egypt" scenes.)
