Review: This Killzone for the Sony PlayStation 2 game is, at first, quite frightening in the way it portrays so much trench warfare. Great detail too. There are 5 places to go: trenches, city, HQ, swamps, and jungle. I like thiis game for the realistic playablity. It's fun - for a war game - and is so easy to get into. The badguys are humanoid aliens called Helghans. You play humanoid aliens called Vectans on planet Vecta, who have been invaded and need help from Earth. There is much drama in the scenes, with a lot of tension as you wait for the enemy to show and fear as you run through a line of fire. The only probelm I see is that (and remember i put 5 stars) it seems to whizz by. But theres still harder difficulties to play. Theres 4 characters to choose from, each with their individual abilities, and you find them through the game, starting with one guy. It's a good game for realism of war, different types of war at that. Even for something as fictuous as it is. It's good science- fiction war (i say science fiction because its on another earth-like planet). Get this game because it is good and you can listen to the enemy shouting things that sounds just like pinhead from hellraiser. |
