Review: Well, I had to choose between this Konica Minolta Dynax 5D or the canon 350D. I chose the KM because of the Antishake feature, since I intend taking a lot of tele shots. The image quality is fantastic when compared with the pentax *ist or nikon d50/70 cameras and about on a par with the canon. The supplied lens in the kit is nice too. The camera is surprisingly responsive (I owned a FZ10 before this and it was positiviely sluggish in comparison). No detectable shutter lag, and a solid snap of the mirror to let you,know you're taking a picture :) The handling is excellent, the only gripe being the depth of field preview is hard to get to. Build quality is fantastic, and certainly the camera feels much more robust than the canon. |
