Review: Haha, funny game, LEGO Star Wars on the Xbox is a very entertaining game. You get to play with tonnes of Star Wars characters, but: THEY ARE LEGO!! It's very funny just watching them woddle around on their two stubby legs, then leap into action swinging plastic lightsabers around. And then, when the action stops, you can even tip-toe around and watch your plastic lego legs bend in a strangely realistic tip-toe fashion.

It's a very simplistic game, one button does everything in combat. The lasting appeal of this game is in trying to unlock everything by replaying the levels with different characters and collecting all the secrets and money. Also, you'll want to share the stupidity and hilarious scenes with your friends.

It took me just a day to finish the game, very short, aimed at young kids you see.

I would have given this game 5 stars if my disk worked properly. Unfortunately, it seems that there is a flaw in the disks which means that the xbox: "your disk may be dirty or damaged" screen pops up quite frequently, and quite a few people have already reported this problem in forums. However, as the game is so short, once the game does load up properly, you can play through the whole thing in one sitting, preferably at 2 players, cos it's funnier.

When I see Star Wars Ep 3, I will watch the scenes and think of the lego characters and wonder where they are, or maybe George, in his infinite wisdom, has decided that all the CG characters in Episode 3 will in fact BE lego characters, that might improve the film... I'm not expecting much from it... At least not from the small glimpse this game shows of it.
