Review Summary: The L&H Complete Works
Overall Score: 5/5 Overall score - 5Overall score - 5
Review: This is a bit like a Laurel & Hardy Complete Works.
The reason I bought this collection is so that I can stop buying individual videos. It has worked, except for The Flying Deuces (1939), which isn't on any of the DVDs. Despite that, the collection is well worth buying.
I didn't really want the 21st disc, but I've changed my mind now. Basically because of 'A Tribute To The Boys', which is a 1991 documentery running over 90 mins, hosted by Dom Deluise (is that how it's spelt?).
I am very cross at the fact that the colorised versions have clips missing, which is a bit of a let down. At least now I know why they never show colorised L&H films on TV.
I'm definately give it *****. It does cost a bit of cash, but is well & truly worth buying.
