Review: Lego Star Wars is far too easy and waaayy too short. I honestly expected more, but hey games can be dissapointments or successes. Like GTA SA and Metal Gear Solid 3. The former being a dissapointment and the latter being the success. This game, beside its imperfections, is the best star wars game ever. Well untill Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith anyway. The graphics of this game are superb, they real;ly do look like lego, apart from their faces move. The gameplay is simple, square to attack, circle to use the force and cross to jump. My only gripe with the force power is the fact that the objects you usew the force on are following pre set courses. So you can nforget second sight style hijinks! You can unlock characters from the films such as General Grievious, Darth Maul and Darth Sidious. And not forgetting Yoda, yes acrobatic Yoda! My other gripe with this game is the fact that after you have unlocked everything, thats all. No bull. Following are my scores for each of the games parts. Graphics:10/10 Gameplay:7/10 Lifespan:4/10 Sound:8/10Now for what i rate each section of the game: The Phantom Menace:7/10 Attack of the Clones:9/10 Revenge of the Sith:10/10 Overall:9/10 Highlights: Obi Wans duel with Anakin at the end, its quite a struggle to survive, even with easy difficulty. Buy this if you are a star wars fan or a poor gamer. I am not a poor gamer, but i bought this anyway. I am sort of dissapointed with the game, i'll probably get rid of it at the end of the year. Sorry Eidos! Good luck with the episode 4,5 and 6 installment! |
