Review Summary: Almost The Perfect Cast!!!

Review: Les Miserables is Lavish, Stunning, Absorbing, Powerful. These are just a few of the words that can be used to describe this anniversary performance. There is only one omission for me that spoiled the production, that it was one STAR talent short of perfection......ANTHONY WARLOW. This guy has to be heard to be believed, (see Complete Symphonic Version CD). He is simply THE BEST baritone of his generation and he was sorely missed on this occasion. I urge you to seek out his other CD work and marvel at his brilliance. I'd quite happily do a swap with Mr Ball anyday to get this Australian performer on our TV's & Theatre Stages.
