Review: I was very very pleased with the Lite-on 5045 DVD recorder initially but it does seem to lock up with amazing regularity. It has also lost all its hard disc recordings on three seperate occasions since I purchased it in March of this year. If it locks up I can't trust that all of its contents will still be there after I restart the machine. The dealer suggested I Email Lite-on and they replied suggesting that I contact dealer. I've updated the firmware numerous times and I believe that they realese firmware updates to fix bugs that should have been fixed before it was realeased. I entered the reset code from liteon. Its definitely bugridden but, having said that it does seem to have improved recently,not locking me out as often.
