Review: Like other review writers I was hesitant at buying the Lite-on 5045 DVD recorder as I have read all the previous reviews. My hesitancy was unfounded. The machine I purchased was manufactured in February 2005.I am more than pleased with my purchase. You have five diferent speeds to record, the longest makes a two hour disc record six hours the quality at this speed is better than any VHS recording I have seen. I am in the process of transferring my family VHS stuff onto disc. The instruction manual is straight forward and easy to understand as long as you take it stage by stage, tuning the channels was very easy and excellent quality of picture for recording though channel five is poor coming through the ariel(I don't know anyone who gets a good channel five reception, apart from through Sky). One slight quip I have with my machine is at the moment I have not been successful to make it multi-region. I still give the machine fives stars. Like a previous reviewer I bought my machine at Dixons on nine months interest free. ( Nothing to pay until December) I have found the remote control to be OK, no problem |
