Review: LiteOn LVW-5005 dual format DVD recorder - Pros:
price -> excellent value for money
features -> I'm new to DVD playing and recording - but it does everything I want and more
ease of use -> possibly the best thing about this machine is the clear manual, easy setup (took me 15-20 minutes to have it up and running) and the ease of use (particularly the easy-guider system)
extras -> I'm a digital camera user and I popped a CD with 300 JPEG images in various sub-folders into the machine and it played a slide-show of all of them perfectly - great!
delivery -> amazon scored hugely with the prompt & perfect delivery.Cons:
I've only had the machine for 2 / 3 weeks so may be too early to have found any nasties
noise -> I had concern that the machine was noisy playing a DVD+RW but opening the draw, re-positioning the DVD and closing again seemed to cure it - no problem with noise since (although be warned - with the fan blowing this is noisier than your average VHS recorder!) |
