Review: The Medion MD41059 is a budget multi-region DVD player but with big boy capabilities. I have replaced my 4 year old with this machine, and it seems to do everything I want it to do. Play Region 1 and 2 DVDs, as well as erm... back up DVDs, plus photo CD's. Considering it came with a scart lead and batteries along with cheap delivery costs, you cant beat this deal in the shops or places like ebay. A nice looking slimline model, although the silver plastic case gives it away that its a budget machine - but behind the smoked glass TV cabinet, you'd never know. My only disappointment was that it it was scratched on arrival, and I dont think it was packaged properly, coming in the manufacturers box, i.e no further brown protective box. All in all, for about £31 inclusing delivery, you can afford to sling it away every year and buy a new one. |
