Review: Fed up with patchy and drifting FM reception and fuzzy AM as I move about London I was keen to upgrade to DAB. The results on the MOS radio are excellent. Crystal clear reception in most places (doesnt work underground unsurprisingly). I received the set at the start of the 1st cricket test so was delighted to tune to TMS on 5live sports extra instead of trying to listen to Radio 4 long wave on AM which sounds like the commentators are talking through cotton wool whilst frying chips. The reception was so good I could hear the crowd unwrapping their sarnies. This is the best price I have seen so far - most places sell personal DAB sets including this one for around £130. This personal DAB tuner is neat, light and easy to use. |
