Review: I brought this DAB radio a few months back and since having it I have been delighted by it. Before getting this Ministry of Sound DR011 radio I was using the tuner built into my Nokia phone, it was a nice way of listening but it had bad signals and was limited to the amount of stations it could pick up. Once I had brought the MOS radio, radio turned from being boring to lively again. It’s picked up a mass amount of stations and is now in very regular use (from when I get up till I goto sleep) When at home I connect it directly to my hifi and while out and about I have it on headphones. The let downs to this product are the battery life and the headphones. But both are easily sorted out by using 2 sets of rechargeable batteries and a pair of Sony headphones. All in all this tuner is not only a brilliant piece of kit while at home but also good when out and about. Just a note when using it with a hifi - you will need to use a cable longer than 3 metres and the cable needs to in a n type shape. This will give the ideal reception for indoor use. To get the best out of this I recommend getting the Sony MDR-ED21LP Groove Shaped in-ear headphones as these are the same type as mine, they will bring out a much richer sound and they do actually increase the signal reception by 15% making them the perfect upgrade.
