Review: The Morphy Richards 43120 Reflect is not the kettle to buy if you are someone who likes to pour the water quickly when boiled, as it will dribble all down the front of the kettle (so you soon get used to pouring more slowly).....which in itself is not really a problem! The kettle looks good and the handle is very comfortable when filling and pouring. You have to be careful if you are filling from a tap that you don't knock the spout as this is also made of glass. I use water poured from a water filter jug, so no problems for me there! It boils very fast and is no noisier than my previous fast boil kettle. When the kettle switches off the water seems to stay at boiling point much longer than a plastic kettle, so this is very handy for making tea (much better to be boiling as it hits the teabags)! I did not have a problem with steam scalding my hands as I poured, as mentioned by another user. Haven't had the kettle long enough to clean it yet, but why use a brush when one of those descaler products (available for glass kettles) will do the job for you! All in all, I like this kettle and am happy that I bought it. |
