Review: I bought this Motorola C385 mobile phone in November for £60, with £20 credit and 3p texts for 6 months. So technically I paid £40. Its now £30 although without the credit offer, but for £30 what can I say. the other reviews here are spot on - great looking, great features, not too good keypad, but you do get used to it. The most annoying thing for me is the red 'hang up/power' button is too close to the number pad, so when typing a message, especially on a saturday night when you're a bit wobbly, its so very easy to press the red button and lose the message you wrote! I have found software on the internet to unlock this phone, and also software to send mp3s to it from your computer to use as ringtones, and pics to use as wallpaper. Although make sure you read the instructions before attempting it, i have managed to lose the motomixer feature of my phone, and it now thinks it only has 1Mb of memory when it has about 2mb! It recieves mms and sends mms - if someone sends u a photo message, you can get it to your computer via USB as described above - all you need is a mini usb cable similar to most MP3 players cables, and the software. Overall I'm very pleased with the phone. I'm a regular texter so would have preferred a better thought out keypad, but still, for £30 you don't expect an all singing all dancing mucic camera machine do you? |
