Review: ...then this would be it. By the spread of reviews the limited edition black Motorola V3 is obviously something you either love or hate, and there are a few idiosyncracies about the OS i don't like, after years of Sony Ericsson phones, and their intuitive software. However, this is the first time i've got a phone i expect to still be using when this contract has expired. I like it so much i'm thinking of buying another on sim-free for when this one dies.

Pros:
All connections (data, hands free, charger etc) via one USB port, rather than the usual plethora of proprietary slots and holes.
Tactile feel (real metal!)- refreshing after years of cheap tacky plastic that creaks after a month of use.
Those blue lights! (and the size of the keypad).
Huge, clear screen, pin-sharp display.
Phone Tools software is excellent.
Slim, great design, real eye-candy.

Cons:
Texting is tricky, but that's probably because i've been using SE for ages... maybe just a bit like driving a Ford after years in a Mazda (indicating with the windscreen wipers etc)
Try getting themes on to it, or changing the HELLOMOTO splash screen to something less crap...if you dare... (more hacking than phone customisation).
No dedicated 'cancel/delete' key like Sonys.. you can do most things on a SE using just 2 keys... a small point, but it all adds to the friendlyness of the UI.
The camera is crap.. but this is a phone... so buy a camera :)

Although there seems a bigger list of cons than pros, for me all the pros are big +s, and the cons tiny -s, most of which are things you can get used to with a little use. There are more fully featured phones out there, but most whizz-bang features lose their novelty value after a week or 2 any way for me, and overall this is the nicest phone i've ever seen.

Batman would want one too...
