Review: Me and my other half have been to two hotels as a result of reading about them in this Mr & Mrs Smith, the Hotel Collection book and in both cases they totally lived up to the description the book gave them. If you hate chintz and like a bit of contemporary taste in your hotels, then you can rely on the advice given in the book. I know two's not many, but it means that we can be a lot more confident now on shelling out a few hundred quid for a nice weekend away if we know it's had the approval of Mr and Mrs Smith. Also, it has some cool little tips more like you might expect to get from a friend who has been there (room 5 is the biggest, ask for a table by the fire etc). Plus you get a card thing that gives you 10% off the food. You can't go wrong! |
