Review: My favourite film by far . Based on Bernad Shaw's Pygmalion, My Fair Lady is the tale of a young cockny flower girl called Eliza Doolittle (Hepburn) and the teacher of phanetics, Proffesor Higgins(Harrison). The bonus footage on this film is excellent. There is even a documentory on the making of My Fair Lady with the late Jeremy Brett who played Freddie.The film won many top Oscars including Best Picture. Unfortunatelly Hepburns wonderful performance did not even gain her a nomination as her songs were dubbed and lost out to Julie Andrews for Mary Poppins, the original Eliza Doolittle on stage. This is a fantasic film. A best buy for anyone.
