Review: My fiance bought a 3 phone on ebay the NEC e228 for £55,so as my phone was having camera problems on the Motorola V600 he decided to buy me the NECe616. It's a very good phone and although we live outside a 3 area we use 02's masts for signal which is very strong and both of us have had no problems with signal,the only thing is you can't get all the services but we can still get music send mms and text but not any video calls which isn't really a problem, and at only 59.99 down from almost £200 you can't really complain,the only thing about this phone that i don't really like is it size very bulky compared with other clamshells of todays phones also battery life is not great if using it for browsing a lot, but overall if you live outside a 3 mast area but get good 02 coverage and only want a phone for texting talking and sending MMs msg's and at this price you have to seriously consider buying a three phone they are only new. There masts will arrive in our area in about in 4 months so it is worth the wait and certainly the value and oh yes the cameras are superb especially on the e228 and e616 especially in well lit areas. So if your asking should i buy one the answer is YES providing you live in a good 3 signal area or are covered by an 02 mast cheers |
