Review Summary: Useless and wonderful

Review: Navman ICN-510 in car gps navigation system - Pros = Looks great, very portable. Fantasic looking gadget.

Cons = Doesnt pick up satelites when only a small amount of cloud is in the sky, sometimes fails to pick up a satelite with no cloud in the sky.

Has appalling heuristics that suggested I travel in the opposite direction when travelling to Wales from Shropshire. Also suggested my 15KM journey home from work should be 100KM instead!

Takes you to dead ends and maps are old even with the latest downloads. (I suppose this criticism will be true of all SatNav's because they all use the same maps). Software keeps crashing also which is really annoying and can be dangerous.

I really do not understand why other websites have hailed this product.
Your far far better off with a map. About as useful as a chocolate teapot. I took mine back.
