Review: I bought this Nokia 2650 phone to replace my 3510. I chose the 2650 as I was looking for a simple yet stylish phone, with no camera or fancy bits on it. I had taken rather a fancy to the rubber-type keys on my previous phone and was looking for something similar as they are comfortable to use. As a previous reviewer states - the hinge for the flip is very clever. I thought, initially, that the keypad would start showing signs of wear over the hinge area, but not so, and I have had the phone for a number of months now. The layout is nokia's usual obvious and easy one. For example, just a click on the left arrow and you immediately get a text screen. I love the blue light which alerts you to a text or missed call - it can even be spotted in the depths of my handbag - it does away with the need for a display on the outside of the flip. The best thing about this phone for me, so far, is its durability - it has been dropped and bashed, and yesterday even had my Vauxhall Zafira driven over it (accidently, of course!)- it has sustained some minor scratches to one side of the case which was pressed into the road, but other than that it is working fine! Amazing! I have found no problems with the battery life. It seems to run for ages before needing charging, and then the charging takes next to no time - plug it into a car charger for a short journey and the battery is well topped up. I can't recommend this phone highly enough if you want something that's simple, yet stands out from the crowd. |
