Review: Having downgraded from a Samsung V200, I wasn't expecting too much from this Nokia 6610i mobile phone. But I was very pleasantly suprised when I opened it up on Christmas day! I got my 6610i for under £100, and it represents excellent value for money. It has all the modern features such as colour screen, camera, polyphonic ringtones and even a radio. It also manages to be an attractive design. A word on the camera - it isn't the last word in photographic excellence, but the quality is fine and it does zoom in and has a nifty night function which is great for those drunken night outs in dark nightclubs. It is extremely easy to use and in my first hour of use I only had to look at the instructions once because I couldn't get the battery cover off! Overall quality isn't fantastic and it does feel slightly flimsy. I can't see it lasting more than a year, so I am tempted to buy a leather case for it. Overall, considering the price, it is a great phone but you do pay for it in quality of the handset and quality of the features (camera and polyphonic ringtones arn't the best). If you're gentle with it, I'm sure it will be great. If you're in the market for a smart phone on a budget, I highly recommend this. |
