Review: I've owned a number of Nokia phones. I'm a big fan because they are easy and intuitive to use. The 6610i is no different, with a menu system which will be familiar to you if you've had a Nokia mobile before. It's a lightweight handset, and although fairly compact, it isn't so small that it makes it difficult to use. I particularly like the feel of the keypad which is comfortable to use. This phone has a camera - fairly low resolution, but you can get some reasonable images particularly if you get close to your subject. It also has an FM radio which is brilliant. I've also got the Nokia Music Stand which is really a speaker which enables you to hear music without using the earpiece, and I would recommend this. I am also pleased by the wap browser which is an xhtml browser and much better than my previous phone for mobile internet use. On the negative side, the 6610i feels very slightly flimsy compared to some of the other current Nokias, and there are so many items now on the menu that it can take a while to find what you want. You can use the "go to" key to overcome this problem to some extent. However, these are really minor niggles. This is a great phone, and I would recommend it if you want an easy to use phone with lots of features. |
