Review: This Nokia 7250i is my first Nokia mobile phone and I have to say it's an interesting one. Smaller than most Nokias, easy to use and pleasing to the eye. And its even easier to use if you download the proper manual from the Nokia website rather than rely on the stripped down version provided by Orange.
Photographs are 352x288 pixels with the image quality (when set to high) reminding me of the old 110 cameras. The night mode reduces the problem of there being no flash though it still needs some lighting and a steady hand. To get the photos out of the camera without MMS-ing them you'll need a data cable - note that to use the expensive Nokia cable you'll need a PC with at least Windows 98SE on it (standard 98 and 98ME aren't compatible). Cheaper data cables seem to do the job just as well.
The speakerphone facility is no use for in car handsfree operation as you still have to press buttons on the phone after you answer a call to switch it on and its not that loud.The supplied headset is useful though, incorporating the answer/hang up switch.
Having had a Siemens previously I would have liked this phone to have had their "auto-off" facility but I suppose you can't have everything. And I also would have liked tone and logo composers instead of having to go through the PC but maybe I'm just being too demanding.
But other than those minor qualms I have to say this is an excellent phone and I'm having great fun with it.
