Review: this Nokia 7600 mobile phone looks great and everything included was good. nevertheless there were some bad points. 1.connecting it to the computer was very tircky and i gave up even after trying it out on two separate computers! 2. the camera quality provided is good, however i do not like the way that the image taken looks far smaller and further away from the object that i am photographing and there is no zoom function when taking the image. nevertheless there is a zoom function when the photo is taken but isn't really that pointful. 3. the phone can become EXTREMELY slow at opening folders when accessing videos and photographs even when the space is only half full. 4. the screen can become scratched far too easily. however it does have a bag to put it in, but this can prove difficult to get into when trying to get it fomr your pocket and open it when accessing a call. 5. I'm on the the tariff "3" which is probably the biggest rip-off ever known! the minimum charge is ?15 per month which you can either have 100 texts and ?5 credit or 100 minutes- absolutely pathetic and is more like a pay monthly fone as the credit is removed after 30 days! (notice this information is rarely ever found unless somebody actually tells you!) Plus the signal is very poor in areas outside of towns, which means having to coninually, manually select an operator. 6. The games provided are lame! there is "Puzzle"- a poor rip-off of "Tetris" and "Backgammon". "3" does allow you to download games......once you have paid the ?5 fee! However saying all this the phone itself looks great and has some great qualities: you can have up to 160 texts, picture quality is good (when zoomed in) and the video is a great touch, allowing up to 2.5 mins of recording. Just make sure you unlock it, something which i have not found out how to do becuase of it being 3G. |
