Review: This Nokia 8800 is the least practical phone I have ever owned. The battery life is absolutely useless. If you use a phone for half an hour a day, take your charger everywhere you go. It doesn't even last out the day without beeping the 'low battery' warning. I took mine back after 3 days. The buttons are practically impossible to use too - the nav key is incredibly fiddly, and the the bottom row keys (#,0,*) are difficult to get to because the case gets in the way. I'm a fairly dextrous piano player - I'd hate to think how someone with less nimble fingers would get on with this. If you want a phone to be seen with, buy the dummy display version from a phone shop. It's about as useful. |
