Review: The Nokia 9210 Communicator PDA Phone may be a compromise, but it doesn't feel like it. I now don't need to take my laptop everywhere, and surfing the web is as fast as via a land line in most cases. Regular connection speeds of 28Kbps are acheivabale, better than I usually get via a hotel switchboard. Now that the product is available on one-2-one there is no reason not to buy it. I have only a minor criticism, and that is that I cannot find a way to connect it to my PC via my Xircom GPS card. But the serial or IR link is almost as good. Setting up can be a bit of a pain as the interface is not always consistent, but once done it is a joy to use, and the screen is superb, even though it is small and works only in 4096 colours.... |
