Review: The first thing that hits you about Oddworld Stranger's Wrath is the grapics for strangers surroundings, the oddworld universe is nothing less than breath taking, there is so much to see, from lush forests, to dusty western style old towns to large industrial factories all with their own towns people and wildlife. The game play is a combination of first and third person which is actually very clever as durring big shoot outs you swicth to first person with a cleaver new use of weapon system, LIVE AMMO stanger has to collect differnt varietys of the local wild life to shoot from his double barreld cross bow such as the sting bee, and the bolmite,both of witch have there own special advantages. Durring areas of the game that involve climbing and running around from one place to the next then third person is best. The whole idea of the game is for stanger who is a bountie hunter too collect on as meny bounties as possible so that he can pay for a mysterious operation with the local doctor
which leads stranger to the ultimate bountie, an a twist in the tale. I loved strngers wrath, its not halo 2, but if your looking from a break from the norm then this could be it. Stunning. |
