Review: The Olympus E500 digital SLR camera is fantastic value... but be beware that the kit I bought from Amazon comes with a Sigma 55-200mm (equivalent to 110 - 400mm on 35mm film) and not the Olympus 40mm - 150mm that I was expecting... Amazon don't really make it clear that the second lens is Sigma and not Olympus. Unfortunately Sigma seem to suffer from some quality control issues... most of their lenses are ok but there's the odd rogue one that couldn't take a sharp picture if it's life depended on it.. This is no way a reflection on the E500 which takes superb, sharp pics and this kit is outstanding value.
