Review: With no disrespect to this model (the Panasonic DMR-ES10EB-S dvd recorder), if you CAN afford it, spend the extra money and go for the model up, which has Freeview built in: Panasonic DMR-ES20DEBS Is it worth an extra £60-£70 just to have Freeview included ? Oh yes.. You can display a TV guide of everything on telly over the coming seven days, select a programme, hit ENTER, and paff ! You've just set the DVD recorder to record that programme. The "20" model does have VideoPlus built-in, but with this functionality, you simply don't need it. And, where possible, it'll even add the NAME and date of the programme you recorded. So you can put a DVD-Ram disc in, and see that the first recording is Little Britain from December 30th. Trust me, it changes the way you'll use your TV ! Mike |
