Review Summary: some confusion over HD.......

Review: Ignore the words of those people who are reviewing this Philips 17PF4310 17" HD Ready TV without actually understanding a thing about it.

- This television IS HD ready as advertised. However the HD input is though a DVI-D connection (or DVI-I, which is just a mixture of the digital and analog), so you will need an additional adapter to run HD devices such as say your skybox or PS3 (when they're released of course) The adapters are cheap, and it makes the TV a great deal compared to other HD choices.

- slight let down on the stand, doesn't tilt very well at all and doesn't accept most wall brackets.

- great TV, stylish finish, and exceptionally clear picture. I was previously using a 15" Dell TFT monitor with my a DVI-I cable and i could notice an impressive improvement in the picture quality.

Just to re-iterate, ignore the newbs who claim its a rip off and not a HD Ready TV, prefer to believe the newbs?? ask phillips yourselves....
