Review: Having previously been a dyed in the wool Sony freak, it took a lot of checking of specifications, comparisons and prices to persuade me to buy a Philips TV. Thank goodness I did! I had to wait a few weeks for this TV to arrive, Amazon probably having been inundated with orders as they were selling it at the cheapest price online at the time (and probably still are). Glad I waited as it is not only a real bargain, but is truly a brilliant TV. Very, very easy to set-up, all Freeview channels in my area became immediately available (including some my old Freeview box didn't pick up - ?) Added my VCR and DVD players with no problems at all. Easy to use controls too on remote control, allowing me to change any colour/brightness etc preferences to personal taste. Cannot find any fault with it at all, other LCD TV's of same size and spec are far, far more expensive. If you choose to buy this TV, you won't be disappointed. It looks very stylish, the picture quality is excellent and it's very easy to use. |
