Review: This Philips DVDR3305/05 DVD recorder is perfect for archiving from a Sky+ box or similar digital recorder. Crucially, it will take RGB in (not as common as you might think for these machines), and therefore enables optimal recording. Buy 2 good quality scarts & loop your digital box through the DVD recorder to the TV (RGB in, of course) & you will have optimised TV viewing, DVD playback & DVD recording (& only have one connection to the TV).
