Review: This Philips DVDR3305/05 dvd recorder is an excellent piece of equipment. It does exactly what Philips claim it does, simply and effortlesly. As with all new concepts it is imortant to fully read the manual and understand what you are doing before using the machine. Previous reviewers have quoted difficult tuning and an inability to copy tapes. This is definately not the case if you connect it up as instructed in the setup guide. My machine picked up all channels faultlessly including the channel names. Recording from TV, Video or Sky is no problem at all. I have copied recordings from tape very easily. This is a well built unit that the family find easier to use than the old VHS Video. I cannot fault the Philips DVDR3305/05 dvd recorder and would recommend it to anyone. |
