Review: Why so many poor reviews when this Philips DVDR610 is clearly a great machine? I also own the LiteOn 5006 which records DVD+/-R/RW/CDR/RW/VCD/SVCD (another great buy but not all that fully featured). The Philips is great: it will record only + discs but is feature packed and will record NTSC from UK VCRs (ideal for transferring a NTSC video collection) and is the only one on the UK market that can do this (Pioneer use to but the Philips does). Great menu, great inputs, great machine!
