Review: I first owned a Philips 880dvdr..what a joke!!..i should have known better to buy another machine made by Philips..the DVDR70.
I've had it for 6 weeks now, and initially it worked fine recording short films, nothing over 1hour 20 mins, but when i try to record longer films, say, 1hour 45 mins for instance, it keeps stopping and coming up with a bunch of numbers etc. I know how to set the record time..so its not that whats the problem, but come on!! im setting it at 3 hours sometimes 4 hours to record a film of less than 2 hours in duration...and still it cuts off and goes into hibernation or something. What good is that to anyone?! Ive contacted Philips but as usaul they're not interested!! So a word of warning...don't waste your money on this piece of junk!! Buy something decent by JVC or Panasonic, it'll be worth it in the end. |
