Review: I bought this Philips DVDR725H multi-region capable DVD recorder a couple of weeks ago and I could not be more pleased, it has changed my viewing habits completly.

I have it connected to a Set top box and using the onboard Guide Plus system recording is a breeze.

The unit has a large hard drive 160GB and can store many hours of tv programmes for later viewing or archiving to DVD disc.

The best feature is the ability to pause TV and rewind etc without affecting the program being watched.

You can for example, be watching live tv, pause the programme to take a telephone call, and resume when finished. Amazingly you can also watch a programme from DVD or hard drive whilst another one is being recorded.
