| Good Points: Playa Blanca is more sophisticated than others in the Canary Islands. Two good sandy beaches. A long promenade for walks. Slightly more expensive restaurant but most very good. Especially recommend Romantica and El Marisco. Sun Beach apartments Good position. |
| Bad Points: Getting too built up. Poor selection of tacky shops. |

Review: Stayed May 2005. Playa Blanca is excellent for a relaxing holiday. Good selection of restaurants and a number of bars some with low key entertainment. Mostly suited to couples of all ages rather than children or the young and lively. Sun Beach apartments are average 3* accommodation but are situated in a quiet area approx 9 minutes from beach and 13 minutes stroll to town centre. |
