Review: Having played Predator: Concrete Jungle on the Sony PlayStation 2 i felt compelled to write a review to ensure that no one else makes the same mistake i made and purchase this game. Initially it seems fair enough, the predator jimself looks awesome and the gore is highly entertaining, but these cant detract from the complete lack of any decent gameplay. There are basically only 4 types of level, fighting goons, stealth, time limited races and more fighting goons. The learning curve on this game is far to steep as well, its just annoying having to repeat whole sections of levels if you die. The enemies are terrible as well, they dont look anywhere near as good as the predator and have absolutely no ai at all! They all just run at you over and over again unless you roar at them. I didnt have the heart to give it 1 star tho cos skinning enemies alive is a feature that should be included in more games This game is definately one for hardcore predator fans only, i would think twice if you saw it in the bargain bin a few weeks from now. |
