Review: Predator: Concrete Jungle on the Xbox is a game I've been waiting for, and the final product is entertaining and fun. You get to be a Predator and carry out a number of 'hunts'. The game starts with you on the run on Earth in 1930, trying to get back to your ship. However, things go wrong - and you end up being dishonoured by your clan. Leaving some of your technology on Earth, you are banished to a remote planet for 100 years - where upon you return to Earth to seek revenge. However, apart from the first (very short) level, the entire game is based in 2030. As such, you don't see much in terms of background story. The graphics are good, but not great. The play-ability is fine, but again it could be better. For those who have played the PC games AVP 1 & 2, this new game might seem like a bit of a let down. Nonetheless, its fun - and die-hard Predator fans will be happy. Overall, this is an ok game - but I think it's one that, after a couple of weeks, you will forget about. |
