Review: In Red Faction Platinum on the Sony Playstation 2 your trip to Mars for a better life turns out to be work and pain the moment you arrive there. Miners are being killed and it's up to you, Eos and Hendrix to stop it. A plague has been unleashed on the miners. Can you find the antidote and prevent more deaths? The game, if it wasn't good enough already, is boosted with computer bots in multiplayer mode. The ability to shoot through practically any walls in multi and one player action is phenomenal. The game is very big and with non-stop game play keeps you occupied for hours. Spoiled only slightly by the handling of the five vehicles, this game gets the thumbs up, a must for anyone loving action and a great storyline. |
