Review: Ridge Racer came with my Japanese import PSP. Okay, nothing great... its ridge racer, a solid racing game launch title, nothing more. Graphics really are excellent, showing the PSP off in all it's glory, I was expecting good from all the press and hype, but I was not expecting this good... the PSP's hardware is very impressive. Mini-PS2 is accurate, and the screen is gorgeous. Gameplay is okay, but I just never found any of Ridge Racer titles to be entirely my cup of tea. A bit too crude and repetitive. Bring on Colin McRae, Toca and GTA! 3 out of 5.
