Review: I had a Siemens C45e which gave up after some time. I replaced it with this, my first phone with a colour screen. I was not too impressed when i recieved the phone. I have always used Siemens phones as they seem to have the best features for writing text messages etc, but this phone immediately seemed 'cheap'. The buttons kind of snap or click unlike the C45e which had a soft quality feel to them. Whether its the colour display i don't know but i found the battery life appalling compared to what i was used to. Okay it could be on standby for a couple of days or something but as soon as you start lighting it up by writing messages or heaven forbid, making a call, that battery seems to plummet. Aside from these couple of things, it has all the great Siemens features. T9 predictive text is very easy to use (unlike another review)and if there is a word you often use it does not know, spell it once and it is stored. You can also avoid typing long words you have typed before and stored by pressing the first letter then scrolling through the options. Very good. Great little phone,...sort out the button feel and battery life. |
