Review: I was after a compact, up-to-the minute camcorder and with this Sony DCR-DVD101E camcorder I got it! It's TINY! And so smart looking, I'm proud to take it with me wherever I may go! There are so many options when filming, such as giving your film a sepia effect, and enhancements like being able to film facing a light (the feature blocks out the glare from it), you really couldn't ask for much more. The quality's fantastic, and the end result is so professional. I love how you can film and take pictures on the same disc, it really is a camcorder and digital camera in one (which is great for me seeing as prior to this I had neither!) so technically a great money saver. It's easy to use, self-explanatory, great ergonomics and a stylish little number! The only downside is the price of discs but you can get them for a little over £10 for 3 (official Sony discs) on the net with a bit of searching, but then again if you've got a DVD re-writer then it's worth buying a re-writable disc for about £20 and bob's your uncle. All in all, the Sony DCR-DVD101E camcorder is top class!
